Fashion & Technology: artisan-crafted luxury leather touchscreen gloves for him & her by Quill & Tine
Luxury, style, innovation, and craftsmanship with a modern sensibility, all tied into one.
Our Story So Far
Established in the winter of 2012 in Toronto, Canada, we are proud to have grown to become the only glove makers in the world designing and crafting luxurious and fashion-forward touchscreen gloves in a wide array of styles for both men and women.
Our Mission and Approach
We are a small, independent studio that craft our own story, develop our own designs, and control every aspect of Quill & Tine and its gloves from start to finish. It is our goal to offer beautifully designed and expertly crafted leather touchscreen gloves in limited runs to sustain quality and exclusivity.
Our Team Members
Richard is our Creative Lead, designer, and brand storyteller. His love for leather fashion accessories knows no bounds. His heart skips a beat at textile and leather shows from New York to Milan. Studied design in Toronto, and has apprenticed with several couturiers and expert leather craftsmen in Toronto, NYC, and abroad. He is also pretty good with a sketchbook.
Every so often we will invite a guest artist into our Anthology Artist Series, whether they be a painter, dancer, writer, photographer, musician, or designer, to inspire the next chapter in our story.
Quill & Tine was borne from a desire to bridge the artisanal traditions of the past with the ingenuity of modern innovations. Thus, we set out to develop beautifully crafted and luxurious leather gloves that could interface with touchscreen devices without the use of conductive materials that would otherwise compromise on craftsmanship and aesthetic quality.
Designed and crafted in our home and native land, Quill & Tine gloves are made by expert glove makers with hand-selected Italian lambskin glove leather that is engineered to interface with touchscreen technology, as well as kid leather, peccary, and soft Italian cashmere & Australian lambswool for an added touch of luxury and warmth.
We love working with local artists of all backgrounds. This month, we shot Canadian actress Kirstin Wendlandt in her favourite styles of our touchscreen gloves. If you would like to connect with this month’s artist, please email us at email@example.com
