How To Measure Your Glove Size
Quill & Tine uses European sizing standards, in inches. Our glove sizes come in half and whole numbers, between 8.0 and 10.0 for men and 6.5 and 8.5 for women.
We suggest a snug fit for best performance, unless otherwise specified on the product’s description.
The index and thumb fingers in Quill & Tine’s gloves are slightly larger to more comfortably accommodate zooming actions. Please note that due to the supple nature of lambskin leather, it will relax and mould through normal wear. If there is the slightest space in the finger tips, the leather will mould to become a better fit.
To accurately measure your glove size, measure the hand you normally write with at its widest point in inches (excluding the thumb) using a tape measurer. Unless otherwise specified on individual product pages, round down to the nearest half number – this will be your glove size.
For example if your hand measures 8.5 inches around its widest point (excluding the thumb), your glove size is 8.5 (Note: one inch = 25.4mm). Where gloves are sized S, M, L, and XL, the following guide will apply (measurements refer to your glove size, as calculated above, not to English inches):
